Zach is a current Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, personal trainer, and run coach.
From Zach: “For as long as I can remember, I have been involved in athletics. I do not come from a typical running background. I played Division I Football at Liberty University, where I fell in love with strength and conditioning, becoming quite gym rat. Which then lead me to CrossFit for many years post college. I had an unnatural progression into Ironman Triathlon and then into running and ultra-running. My personal run experience ranges from the 5k to the 100mi distances (I tend to gravitate towards big mountain ultras, but love being a diverse runner). I still enjoy throwing weights around, and using strength training to make me a more well-rounded athlete. Working in emergency medicine, my expertise usually includes life-saving measures, on people with chronic conditions. These folks aren’t usually invested in their health and fitness. I am excited to be working with athletes like you, who are invested in their health and fitness. I want to help you become the best version of yourself!"
My personal performance resume includes: -Marathon PR of 3:00:05 (Shamrock Marathon 2024) -50k PR of 5:11:51 (Summit 50/50 50k 2023, 3rd male overall) -50mile PR of 7:38 (JFK 50 Mile, 2024) -100mile PR of 28:25 (Grindstone 100, 2024) -Five 50-mile Finishes -Three 50k Finishes -One 140.3 Ironman Finish 12:43:26 (Ironman Maryland, 2018)
