Homemade Pho

This is one of the most simple dishes in my dinner repertoire, and also one of my favorites! It's not perfectly authentic, but it's easy and has the flavors of the real thing!

​Your ingredients:
-1 package rice noodles
(Cooked as per instructions on the box)
-1 or 2 cartons of beef broth, depending on how many you're serving (1 carton serves two people).
-1/4c soy sauce
-3-4tbs toasted sesame oil 
-1-2 cloves of garlic

Combine all ingredients above in a saucepan, and bring to a boil to create your broth. 

In your serving bowl, add cooked rice noodles, raw shredded beef , chopped onion and scallion, mushrooms if desired, and fresh cilantro. All to taste.

Pour broth over contents of the bowl, and allow hot broth to quick-cook the beef.

I like to add a splash of lime juice on top, and then enjoy!
