(Simple as could be... Makes for a great side dish, lunch meal, or take-along)
-1 to 2 bags of Shredded Cabbage or Tri-Color Slaw
-1 stick of butter (for 2 bags... half for 1 bag), or 1/2c of oil of choice
-Garlic powder, Onion powder, Salt (all to taste)
-Preheat oven to 375 degrees
-Pour oil or melted butter into a baking dish
-Empty bags of shredded slaw into baking dish, and toss with oil or butter.
-Sprinkle garlic, onion, and salt on top, and toss again to mix seasonings.
-Bake for 25-30 minutes, until softened through and slightly crispy on top.
*Butter or oil is your key ingredient here... in place of mayo, fat is what gives this dish flavor and makes it truly satisfying. The seasonings are just the extra credit!
*Get creative with other seasonings to taste! Dill would make this into a more summery side-dish. I enjoy shaking everything-bagel-seasoning on top! Paired with an avocado, this makes a great complete, nutrient-dense meal!
