Why: To get active, get healthy, get moving, and challenge yourself, all while helping those effected by the Covid-19 Crisis! 100% of proceeds from this event will go to: The United Way of Washington County Covid-19 Relief Fund to support community-based organizations impacted by the crisis in the local More Miles community AND The Joyful Heart Foundation to support survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault nationwide during this time of crisis.

Where: Your home! This is a fully VIRTUAL event!
What: Every hour, within the hour, participants will complete 1-mile on foot. The challenge is to continue this hourly mile, EVERY HOUR, for as long as you can, until only one participant remains. You can walk, you can run... speed does not matter, only continuity! You can complete 1 mile and stop, or continue forward every hour to compete for the Last One Standing title. The choice is yours, and your contribution to our beneficiaries is the same no matter what! Remember 100% of proceeds will be donated! So invite your family, your friends, your neighbors. Let's band together and help each other!

Official Rules: *Results will be based on the honor system, however if you wish to have an official result, and/or be considered for the Last One Standing title, you must submit proof of 1-mile completion BEFORE the end of EACH hour. (Proof can include a photo from your GPS watch or activity tracker.) Use the "Submit My Mile" top or button at the bottom of this page
*If your mile is not submitted by the end of the hour (xx:59:59), you will be considered "out". *Treadmill miles ARE acceptable, but must be accompanied by data from a fitness-tracker device if you wish to be considered for the Last One Standing title. *If there are multiple contenders standing after 50 HOURS of competition, 1-mile per hour will be added to the challenge until a winner emerges. There will only be ONE! *All miles must be completed on foot. No bikes, scooters, etc. permitted.
