I am so excited to be offering personal training services to my local community! Helping people reach their goals and feel good about their bodies and lives is my passion. I began personal training in 2005 and fell in love with the ability it gave me to pursue that passion. With over a decade of experience, you can count on me as expert in physical fitness, among other things! I am currently certified through ACSM (the American College of Sports Medicine). My personal training experience includes women and men of all ages and ability levels, including children, seniors, athletes and beginners. More specifically, I am experienced in strength training, endurance training, weight loss, pre-and-post natal fitness, senior fitness, injury prevention, post-injury recovery, couple’s training and small and large group training. My private home studio is located in Hagerstown, MD. I have a wide range of equipment to help you get fit and keep you motivated, including dumbbells from 5 – 90lbs, weight bench, suspension trainer, medicine ball, stability ball, BOSU ball, yoga mats, foam roller, treadmill, and plenty of open space for body-weight training, my personal favorite. This is a studio, not a “gym”, which means you have the benefit of privacy and one-on-one attention (not to mention music-selection)!
Additionally, I have a kid-zone set up for full-time parents who don’t have childcare during the day, such as myself! (*note* this is not childcare, it is a safe, kid-friendly area with toys and books in full view of the workout studio space.)
Sessions are offered on a half-hourly basis. Clients have the option of scheduling recurring appointments at a discounted rate, or scheduling “drop-in” appointments.
