I have been training with Lauren since March of 2016. I participated in twice weekly group workouts and started seeing results, so I began personal training in June. By the end of June, Lauren asked me about running goals. I was contemplating doing a sprint triathlon in September, so I told her about that and stated that I eventually just wanted to be able to run an entire 5K…at that point, I was a run/walker with a 13:00 mile pace. I joined the Run Squad and she set me up with weekly running goals. Fast forward to the fall of 2016…I finished the sprint triathlon in September, ran an entire 5K in October, and improved my 5K in November to a finishing time of 31:00…that’s a 10:00 pace! I am continuing my running and personal training with Lauren and I can’t wait to see what I will accomplish in 2017. Lauren has helped me get my body back after having three children and I truly feel 40 and fabulous!
