I heard of Lauren about a year ago from a friend. Finding her has been the best thing that has happened to my fitness goals! I have always been kind of a runner and by that I mean I would run a mile or 2 here and there. I did a few 5k runs and fun mud/obstacle races over the past few years. 3 miles was pretty much all this girl could do! Last year in February I decided I wanted to take running more seriously, but needed help so I contacted Lauren. I wanted to run a 10k. She set me up with a plan. I did my best to follow it, but struggled with a bout of pneumonia and some personal issues. Lauren still kept me going. My goal was to do it in under 60 minutes. To some that is a piece of cake. For others like me I had to push for that. I ran that 10k in 59:26. I reached my goal and as shocking as it may sound placed 3rd in my age group with that time. I even got a medal 😊💪🏼 I know I couldn't have done that with out her help. This year I decided I was taking it up a notch with a half marathon! Lauren's plan and guidance is getting me there! I love that each plan is tailored to each runners needs. Her and I live 3 hours away, but I still feel like she is guiding me every step of the way! She even includes non locals in workshops such a strength training through video chats! I can't wait to see where my running goes with her training me in years to come! So many thanks Lauren!
